Three names
PhiMajor, PhiWebs and PhiCo
The three get mixed up often. The difference, briefly:
PhiMajor
The company that builds all of it. In Istanbul since 2016; this legal entity is the party to the contracts and the issuer of the invoices.
PhiWebs
The platform where our customers build, publish and manage their applications. You publish at your own address, and what comes out stays yours.
PhiCo
PhiWebs’ AI partner. It builds your application from a real component catalogue, lists every change it intends to make, and publishes once you approve.
Ownership
You are not locked to the platform.
The address is yours and so is the source. Take it with you, or host it yourself.
Your own address
Your application runs at its own address from the first publish.
The source is yours
You can download the application’s entire source as a single portable file.
On your own server
Drop the ready-to-run package on your own server and keep it running indefinitely.
Open source
The engine is open.
PWFabric, the engine behind PhiWebs, is open source and published independently.
The interface layer is Apache-2.0; the engine layer is Business Source License 1.1 (Change Date 2030-08-21). Hosting it for your own customers and running a downloaded package on your own server indefinitely are both permitted; the only restriction is offering PWFabric as a competing service.
